Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the nine-race programme on Wednesday October 22 at Te Aroha.

As on Tuesday October 21 the conditions were: cloudy and Dead5, rail out 2 metres.

2.03 p.m. R4 9 Scandinavian (3 g Dylan Thomas - Blanche Amelia) - Matt Cameron; makes his debut from barrier fourteen in the Maiden 3YO 1400 metres. A staying type in the making on type and pedigree, he has freshened since finishing second in a 1200-metre trial on September 9 at Cambridge, and in quest for cover from a wide gate the aim is to round off solidly.
