Te Akau track work highlights - Wednesday August 13 - (and the magic moon was still out - shots by Stacey)
Course proper, right-handed (Heavy):
Fast Fiction (Hercock) galloped 800 metres in 55, last 600m in 39.1. The five-year-old son of Fastnet Rock (Danehill) has raced very competitively for two seconds this time in and looks to tackle the Benchmark 65 1000 metres next Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Taupo.
In search of better going with many of his resuming horses, trainer Jason Bridgman also has Bon Marche (Nom Du Jeu), Darci's Dream (Darci Brahma), Jewels Gift (Stravinsky), Madame Jamai (Minstrel Court) and Opulent (Keeper) earmarked for the meeting at Taupo.
