Te Akau Wednesday Trackwork

Te Akau track work Wednesday June 26

Fog prevented timing

Course proper, right-handed (slow):

With weekend assignments ahead, Goyescas (Walters) and Urban Angel (Miller) produced good work over 1200 metres. K C Walters had Goyescas under a hold throughout as she prepares for the Benchmark 75 1600 metres at Ruakaka, while tackling the Benchmark 65 1600 metres Urban Angel travelled sweetly and rolled on nicely after the line.

Two-Year-Old Grass Track (slow), three-quarter pace:

All Decked Out (2 c Darci Brahma - Diamond Deck) (Miller) and King Savinsky (2 g Savabeel - Lynisky) (Walters) looked good finishing off 1000 metres. Following a strong trial performance for second at Cambridge, King Savinsky is scheduled to debut in the Maiden 2YO 1200 metres on Wednesday July 3 at Te Rapa, and All Decked Out is being readied to kick off in the 2YO 1200 metres on July 13 at Ruakaka. Both are strong types that show professionalism in their manners.

Dreamer (2 f More than Ready - Make Me Strong) (Walters) continued her preparation in good style when working solo over 800 metres. She is scheduled to resume on July 20 in the 2YO 1000 metres at Ruakaka.

2 f Flying Spur - St. Therese (Miller) and 2 f Minstrel Court - Nat The Brat (Stack) each showed improvement when working over 800 metres, both appearing comfortable with the footing.

Seline (2 f Pentire - Dion) (Miller) and Sky Music (2 f Stravinsky - Dawn Rhapsody) (Walters) appeared to have trained on nicely following their recent trials at Cambridge, when completing 800 metres without fuss.
