Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 2 December -

Course Proper:

Race day rivals Melody Belle (McNab) and Heroic Valour (Pinn) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.07.6, home in 38.4. Both horses worked well and prepare to contest the Open 1200 metres at Ellerslie next Saturday.

Piper (Leveque) and Griffin (M Grylls) paired up to gallop an easy 800 metres in 54.7, last 600 in 39.8.

Nucleonic (McNab) and Vinvevale (Burdan) galloped 1000 metres in 1.03, last 600 in 36.8. Nucleonic is set to race in the Rating 65 1200 metres at Matamata next Friday while Vinevale aims toward the Rating 85 1400 metres at Ellerslie next Saturday.

Elegant D'Oro (McNab) and Dazed And Confused (Pinn) galloped 1000 metres in 1.04.2, last 600 in 38.1. Dazed And Confused builds toward racing in the Maiden 1300 metres at Pukekohe next Wednesday.

Te Akau Dragon (Burdan) and Dublin Rose (McNab) galloped 800 metres in 53.8, last 600 in 39.4. They were followed by Weaponry (Pinn) who worked similar times.

No. 2 Sand:

Cloudburst (McNab) galloped an easy 800 metres in 57, last 600 in 40.

Bak Da Master (Alam) worked on his own at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, home in 46.

Lady Painton (Burdan) and Silver Missile (Leveque) galloped 800 metres in 52.3, last 600 in 39.1.

Chance To Dance (Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 43.9.

Gris Dame (M Grylls) and Wandering Eye (Leveque) looked galloping an easy 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 40.

3f Darci Brahma - Velvet And Satin (K Price) and Status Symbol (Pinn) galloped 800 metres in 56, last 600 in 39.

Fashionably (Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.28, last 600 in 41. She worked well and is due to race in the Rating 85 2000 metres at Matamata next Friday.

Wide Awake (Leveque) worked well at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 44.3.

Byzantine (McNab) and In A Twinkling (Alam) galloped 800 metres in 58.7, last 600 in 38.

Abbey Kay (Pinn) and Paulownia (K Price) galloped quite nicely over 800 metres in 54, last 600 in 39.4.
