Course Proper;

Splurge (Lammas) galloped nicely on his own over 1000 metres in 1.02, last 600 in 36.5. Splurge prepares to line up in the $100,000 Group 2 WFA 1400 metre event at Awapuni on Saturday 23 December.

Dazed And Confused (Pinn) and Mongolianconqueror (Bakar) paired up to gallop an easy 1000 metres in 1.07, last 600 in 38.5. Dazed And Confused has been unlucky with wide draws and now aims toward the Maiden 1400 metres at Matamata next Wednesday 20 December.

Coup Bradman (Lammas) and Bak Da Master (Bakar) also galloped 1000 metres in 1.01, home in 36.2. Both horses also aim toward racing at Matamata next Wednesday in their respective events.

Plough:

Gardenier (Tan) worked solo over an easy 800 metres in 58, last 600 in 42.

Scarlet Princess (Pinn) and Aquilo (Newman) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.05.6, last 600 in 37.7. Both horses aim toward racing at Matamata next Wednesday.

Vinevale (K Jones) worked an easy 1000 metres in 1.12 while Age Of Fire (Bakar) galloped nicely over an easy 1000 metres in 1.12, last 600 in 40.4.

Avantage (K Price) and Qian Qua (Newman) looked good working on their own at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01.

Building toward the $200,000 Group 1 Sistema Railway at Ellerslie on New Year's Day, Heroic Valour (Bakar) worked along nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, home in 45.5.

Our Abbadean (K Jones) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 44.
