Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 27 January -

Course Proper:

Lady Painton (Tan) and Unfazed (D Miller) worked together at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 43.3.

Building toward the Waikato Guineas at Te Rapa on 6 February, Griffin (Tan) worked on his own at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.29, last 600 in 45.

Also preparing for the Waikato Guineas, Mongolianconqueror (Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.34, last 600 in 44.9.

Scrutinize (Bakar) looked good galloping an easy 1200 metres.

Grazia (Newman) galloped 1200 metres in 1.22, home in 40.4. Grazia prepares for the Taranaki Cup at New Plymouth on 3 February.

Zavistic (Burdan) and Qian Gua (Pinn) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 40.

Silver Missile (Pinn) galloped an easy 1200 metres in 1.24, last 600 in 39.7. “Rocket” aims toward racing in the Maiden 2000 metres at Hastings on 1 February.

No 2. Sand

Gris Dame (Newman) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 46.

Princess Davone (Tan) worked over 1200 metres in 1.33, last 600 in 46. Princess Davone is now set to race in the Putauaki Trust Cup at Te Teko on Monday.

Beaumarchais (Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 45. Pop Diva (Pinn) also worked over 1000 metres, running similar times.

Together (D Miller) and Inheritance (Pinn) paired up to gallop an easy 600 metres in 39.5.

All Weather:

Lillet Rose (K Price) worked solo over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 42.

Readying to race at Te Teko on Monday, Elegant D'Oro (D Miller) galloped an easy 1200 metres in 1.26, last 600 in 41.5.
