Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 10 February -

Course Proper:

Scarlet Princess (D Miller) and Beau Geste (Newman) galloped an easy 1200 metres in 1.24.9, last 600 in 40.4. Scarlet Princess prepares for the Rating 65 1600 metres at Te Aroha next Wednesday while Beau Geste is building toward racing at Wairoa on 22 February.

Sword Of Osman (McNab) worked solo over 1000 metres, running 800 metres in 56.1, home in 41.9. He prepares for the Group 3 2YO C&G Slipper at Matamata on 24 February.

Preparing to race at Gisborne next Sunday, Tavis Star (Lammas) and English Rose (D Miller) galloped an easy 1200 metres in 1.24.3, last 600 in 40.1.

Mongolianconqueror (Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.33. After finishing a very close second in the Waikato Guineas, Mongolianconqueror now prepares for the Group 2 Avondale Guineas at Ellerslie on 17 February.

Splurge (McNab) looked good galloping 1200 metres in 1.23.1, last 600 in 41.1. Splurge aims toward the Group 1 Haunui Farm WFA Classic at Otaki on 24 February.

No.2 Sand:

Lady Amadeus (Newman) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.33, last 600 in 46.

Remington (McNab) and Lady Zeraph (Tan) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.11.8, home in 41.9.

Devil May Care (K Price) looked good working at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 44.5. In A Twinkling (McNab) also worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres running similar times.

The Chaser (D Miller) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 45.5.

Oceana Lad (McNab) and 2g Camelot - Chorus Of Angels (Bakar) galloped very well over 600 metres in 39.9.

Chadsdale (Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 59.8, last 600 in 44.1.

2f Per Incanto - Moss Lady (Newman) and Jakkabella (Tan) galloped an easy 600 metres in 42.

Lillet Rose (D Miller) and Abbey Kay (Lammas) galloped an easy 1000 metres, running the last 800 metres in 56.3, home in 41.7.

Live Wire (Lammas) and Shebringsmerubies (Newman) paired up to gallop an easy 600 metres in 40.5.

3g Rock 'N' Pop - Our Zara (D Miller) and Rock Idol (Tan) galloped together over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 39.

Remember O'Reilly (Newman) and 2f So You Think - Headsup (Leveque) looked good galloping an easy 600 metres in 41. They were followed by Prise De Fer (Tan) who ran similar times.
