Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 21 April -

Course Proper: Thick fog prevent times being taken.

Paulownia (M McNab) lead Ristretto (S Rusof) in an easy 1000 metre gallop - both horses worked superb. Paulownia prepares for the Group 3 Cambridge Breeders Stakes  at Te Rapa next Saturday, while Ristretto builds toward the Listed 2YO 1100 metres at Te Rapa on 5 May.

Readying for the Group 2 Travis Stakes at Te Rapa next Saturday, Our Abbadean (T Newman) looked terrific galloping solo over an easy 1200 metres.

Bojangles (S Rusof) and Icebomb (M McNab) looked good when coming out of the fog, galloping nicely over 1000 metres.

Seirios (M McNab) and Full Of Grace (S Rusof) prepare to race at Awapuni/Avondale next Wednesday, galloping over 1000 metres. Also preparing to race next Wednesday, Qian Cheng (M McNab) and Albatross Point (S Rusof) paired up to gallop 1000 metres.

No. 2 Sand:

Master Painton (N Bakar) worked along nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 45.

Preparing to resume at Tauranga next Thursday, Tiffany's Time (T Newman) galloped 1000 metres in 1.11, last 600 in 41.

Also building toward racing at Tauranga, Devil May Care (S Rusof) worked very nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 44.

Beaumarchais (S Rusof) galloped solo over 800 metres in 52, last 600 in 37.6.

3g Reliable Man - Colheita (N Bakar) looked good working at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 45.

All Weather:

2f Ocean Park - Ruud Van Slaats (K Price) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 600 metres in 44.9. She was followed by Lady Jess (R Alam) who ran similar time.
