Te Akau track work highlights, Saturday 28 April -

Plough:

Lady Painton (S Rusof) and Master Painton (O Bosson) looked good galloping 1000 metres in 1.05, last 600 in 37.

Two-year-olds preparing for a race day debut, Grand Ariana (S Rusof) and Ritzy Sparkle (O Bosson) galloped nicely together over 1000 metres in 1.10, home in 39.

Albatross Point (O Bosson) worked over 1000 metres in 1.13, home in 42. Albatross Point builds toward kicking off her racing career at Wanganui next Sunday.

Meteoric Lass (O Bosson) and Witchery (S Rusof) galloped 1000 metres in 1.06, last 600 in 37. They were followed by Fine Bouquet (T Newman) who ran similar times.

Last start winner, Qian Gua (S Rusof) prepares for racing at Matamata on Wednesday by working over 1200 metres in 1.29.5, last 600 in 37.5.

Byzantine (O Bosson) and Aquilo (S Rusof) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 38. Byzantine builds toward the Listed Waikato Equine Veterinary Centre 2YO Stakes at Te Rapa Saturday week, while Aquilo prepares to resume in the Rating 65 1200 metres at Wanganui next Sunday.
