Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 25 August -

Course Proper: 

Foxbridge Plate winner Melody Belle (S Rusof) looked terrific when pairing up with Te Akau Shark (D Miller) to work over 1000 metres in 1.12.2, last 600 in 40.5. Melody Belle will next line up in the Group 1 Tarzino Trophy (WFA 1400m), while Te Akau Shark prepares to resume in the Rating 82 1200 metres - both at Hastings on 1 September.

Readying to resume in the Rating 72 1200 metres at Ruakaka on 1 September, King Kane (S Rusof) galloped nicely on his own over an easy 1000 metres in 1.10, home in 39.8.

Our Abbadean (S Rusof) and Richard Of Yorke (D Tan) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.10.9, last 600 in 40.8. Our Abbadean also prepares for the Group 1 Tarzino Trophy, and Richard Of Yorke builds toward a South Island campaign, kicking off at Riccarton on 8 September.

No. 2 Sand:

Te Akau Dragon (J Stan) and Prise De Fer (D Miller) looked good galloping 800 metres in 51.5, last 600 in 36.6. Fine Bouquet (T Newman) and Seirios (S Rusof) also galloped 800 metres, running very similar times.

Beaumarchais (C Burdan) worked well on his own; galloping 800 metres in 55.6, home in 38.9. Trendsetting (N Bakar) also galloped nicely over 800 metres.

Unfazed (D Miller) galloped solo over 800 metres in 54.5, home in 39.9.

Our Flying Ace (D Miller) and Willpower (J Stan) galloped 800 metres in 53.6, final 600 in 38.

Wandering Eye (D Tan) and 3g Shocking - Walsburgs Dream (S Rusof) galloped nicely together over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 37.1.

Qian Gua (D Miller) and In A Twinkling (C Burdan) galloped side by side over 800 metres in 56, home in 36.5.

Spirit Of Galway (N Bakar) looked good working on her own at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 46.

Byzantine (J Stan) worked solo over 800 metres in 58, last 600 in 42.5.

Working in single file: Witchery (D Tan), Encore Encore (S Rusof) and Motivation (T Newman) galloped an easy 800 metres in 55, finishing off in 39.

3f Per Incanto - Moss Lady (S Rusof) and Remington (D Tan) paired up to gallop 800 metres, running their last 600 in 36.5.

Sword Of Osman (D Miller) and Mongolianconqueror (S Rusof) galloped nicely over an easy 800 metres in 55, home in 40.4.

All Weather:

Confectionery (L Tynan) and 2f Reliable Man - Lady Eiko (S Dowling) galloped quietly over an easy 600 metres in 43.5.

Duck Road (D Tan), Shebringsmerubies (T Newman) and Remember O'Reilly (S Rusof) galloped 800 metres in 49.3, last 600 in 36.5.

Enduring Love (N Bakar) and Seaforth Lass (T Newman) galloped over an easy 800 metres, running the last 600 in 39.5.
