Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 20 October -

 

Plough:

Sword Of Osman (C Burdan) looked good working at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.17, last 600 in 43. Sword Of Osman races in the Group 2 James and Annie Sarten Memorial Stakes (3YO SW, 1400m) at Te Rapa on Labour Day Monday, 22 October.

Building toward racing at Pukekohe next Friday, Motivation (D Miller) and Icebomb (N Bakar) galloped nicely over an easy 1000 metres in 1.11, last 600 in 40.5.

Gris Dame (S Rusof) and Chance To Dance (J Nason) paired up to gallop 800 metres in 51.3, last 600 in 37.5.

D'Oro Mantra (C Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 58, last 600 in 44.

Readying to debut at Waipukurau next Thursday, Mongolian Angel (S Rusof) and Tweet (J Nason) looked to be hitting out nicely when working over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 36.1.

Encore Encore (S Rusof) and Together (N Bakar) galloped over 800 metres in 56, home in 39.

Jet Set (D Miller) and Fabulous Flight (C Burdan) galloped 1000 metres in 1.07, last 600 in 37. Both horses prepare for Maiden events at Waipukurau next Thursday, or Pukekohe the following day.

Sizzler (S Rusof) and Xplosion (J Nason) galloped nicely over an easy 800 metres in 57.8, home in 41.8. Sizzler aims toward racing in the 2YO event at Ellerslie Saturday week, and Xplosion readies to head down the line to Trentham, to contest the Listed Wellesley Stakes to be run over 1000 metres, also on Saturday.

Tiffany's Time (N Bakar) and Witchery (S Rusof) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.04.7, last 600 in 36.5. Tiffany's Time aims toward racing at Waipukurau next Thursday, while Witchery has options at both Waipukurau on Thursday and Pukekohe on Friday.

Preparing to resume in the Rating 65 1200 metres at Pukekohe next Friday, She's Not Bad (J Nason) worked on her own over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 41.1.
