Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 27 October -

Plough:

Embellish (Miller) and Duck Road (Burdan) went an easy 1000 metres in 1:09.6, last 600m in 39.5. Embellish is preparing to resume in the Open 1300 metres next Saturday, 3 November, at Tauranga, and Duck Road races a day beforehand in the Maiden 1400 metres at New Plymouth.

Pacific Coast (Nason) and Spirit of Galway (Bakar) galloped 1000m in 1:07, last 600m in 37.5.

Pinot Grey (Nason) looked good over 1000m in 1:08, last 600m in 39.

King Kane (Miller) worked freely over 1200m in 1:23.2, last 600m in 41.

Qian Gua (Miller) ran 1200m in 1:23.7, last 600m in 38.9.

Enduring Love (Bakar) went 1000m in 1:07.4, the 600m in 40.4.

Don'tblamethemusic (Burdan) ran an easy 1000m in 1:07.5, last 600m in 39.

Shezthinka (Bakar) and 3 f Pentire - Platinum Blond (Leveque) worked up from the 800m and looked good running the last 600m in 40. Firebrand (Leveque) did similar work, as too did Lord High Spirit, also ridden by Leveque.

Beaumarchais (Burdan) went 1000m in 1:13.9, last 600m in 42.6.
