Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 1 December -

Course Proper:

On track to race at Pukekohe next Wednesday, Burgundy Belle (J Nason) and Pacific Coast (N Bakar) looked good galloping over 1000 metres in 1.09.9, last 600 in 39.1.

Qian Gua (D Miller) galloped on his own over 1000 metres in 1.09, home in 40.5. Qian Gua builds towards racing in the Rating 72 1600 metres at Matamata next Friday.

Aotea Lad (C Burdan) and Byzantine (D Miller) galloped nicely over an easy 800 metres in 39.5, last 600 in 39.5.

Last start winner Total Excess (D Miller) worked well at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14, quickening over the last 600 metres to finish in 42.1.

Motivation (J Nason) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres, running the last 1000 in 1.13, home in 43. Motivation aims towards racing in the Rating 65 1800 metres at New Plymouth next Thursday.

Preparing to race at Matamata or Waipukurau later next week, Gris Dame (J Nason) worked over an easy 1200 metres, running 1000 metres in 1.12, last 600 in 40.5.

Aiming toward a race day debut at Pukekohe on Wednesday, Not Usual Dream (C Burdan) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 39.8.

Our Abbadean (J Nason) and Meteoric Lass (N Bakar) paired up to gallop an easy 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 41.1.

Looking to race next week, Together (L Miller) and Enduring Love (N Bakar) galloped nicely on their own over 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 39.2.

Also readying to race next week, Luminous (L Miller) worked over an easy 1200 metres, running the final 600 in 41.

Accepted to race at Pukekohe on Wednesday, Qiji Crystal (N Bakar - main picture left) caught the eye when galloping in company over 1000 metres in 1.07, last 600 in 38.5.

 

No.2 Sand:

Pinultimate (C Leveque) worked quietly at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14.7, last 600 in 42.6. Savy Yong Blonk (J Nason) also worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running similar times.

Beaumarchais (C Burdan) looked good galloping an easy 1000 metres in 1.07.1, last 600 in 37.8.

You're Welcome (D Miller) galloped nicely over an easy 800 metres in 57.4, home in 41.

Rock Idol (J Bragg) worked over an easy 1200 metres, running 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 39.1. Elegant D'Oro (N Bakar) also worked over an easy 1200 metres, running very similar times.
