Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 8 December -

Thick fog prevented many times being taken.

Course Proper:

Building up towards trialling at Te Aroha on Tuesday and racing in the Group 1 Sistema Railway (Open SW&P, 1200m), Melody Belle (S Rusof) looked good galloping over an easy 1000 metres.

Mazzuro (D Miller) and Golden Age (J Stan) galloped nicely together over an easy 1000 metres. Mazzuro aims toward resuming at Ellerslie on Thursday, while Golden Age readies to make his race day debut at Hastings on Wednesday.

Also preparing to race at Hastings on Wednesday: Beau Geste (C Burdan), Motivation (D Miller) and Fabulous Flight (J Nason) galloped nicely over 1200 metres. Lord High Spirit (S Rusof) and Shezathinka (J Nason) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres.

No.2 Sand:

She's Not Bad (L Miller) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 40.

Sword Of Osman (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 46. Our Flying Ace (D Miller) also worked over 1000 metres, running very similar time.

Full Of Grace (J Stan) galloped nicely on his own over an easy 800 metres.

Diamond Dream (S Rusof) and Harlow (J Nason) paired up to gallop over an easy 800 metres.
