Plough:

On track to race in the Group 3 Barneswood Farm Eclipse Stakes (2YO SW, 1200m) at Ellerslie on New Year's Day, Aotea Lad (D Miller) galloped nicely over an easy 1000 metres in 1.12.3, last 600 in 41. Also readying to race at Ellerslie on New Year's Day, in the Group 1 Sistema Railway (Open SW&P, 1200m), Melody Belle (S Rusof) looked good working at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 42.5.

Preparing to race at Te Aroha next Thursday, Beaumarchais (C Burdan) worked over 1200 metres, running the last 1000 in 1.05.6, home in 36.3.

Witchery (C Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.02.6, home in 45.

Golden Age (N Bakar) and She's Not Bad (J Kamaruddin) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 39.

Preparing to race at Tauranga and Hastings, Qiji Crystal (J Bragg) was followed by Shezathinka (J Nason) when galloping over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 41.

Rock Idol (C Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 45. Duck Road (C Burdan) also worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running similar times.

Top Brass (S Rusof) and Publicist (J Nason), Challa (S Rusof) and Vino Bella (J Nason) galloped in pairs over an easy 800 metres in 56.5, final 600 in 41.

Al Haram (S Rusof) and Byzantine (J Nason) galloped 800 metres in 54.3, home in 39.8.

Racing at Hastings on New Year's Day, Motivation (N Bakar) worked over ground, running the last 1000 metres in 1.09, final 600 in 41.

Mazzuro (D Miller) also worked over ground, in company, and ran the last 600 metres in 37.5. Mazzuro prepares to race at Te Aroha next Thursday.

Equinox (D Miller) and Greedy (J Kamaruddin), Excitonic (S Rusof) and Lightning Field (J Nason), Ocean Star (N Bakar) and Willpower (C Burdan) all worked in pairs, galloping over 800 metres in similar times of 55, last 600 in 39.
