Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 19 January -

 

Course Proper:

 

Preparing to race at Avondale on Wednesday, Witchery (S Rusof) and Qiji Crystal (O Bosson) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.07, last 600 in 37.

Golden Age (D Miller) and Jet Set (N Bakar) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.06.4, home in 36.1.

Willpower (J Nason) and Ocean Star (D Miller) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.06.3, home in 36.9.

Two-year-olds preparing to debut, Enrichment (S Rusof) and Folk Dress (O Bosson) paired up and galloped over 800 meters in 53, final 600 in 38.

On track to contest the $1m Karaka Million 2YO next Saturday 26 January at Ellerslie, Yourdeel (S Rusof) and Aotea Lad (O Bosson) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09.5, home in 39.3. Louis Luck (S Rusof) and Challa (O Bosson) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.08.4, last 600 in 38.2.

Prise De Fer (O Boson) and In A Twinkling (D Miller) looked good working over an easy 1000 metres in 1.07, final 600 in 39. Both are on target to contest the $1m Karaka Million 3YO Classic also next Saturday.

Sword Of Osman (O Bosson) galloped on his own over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09.9, home in 39.8. Sword Of Osman readies to race in the Group 3 Mongolian Khan Trophy (3YO SW+P, 1200m) at Ellerslie on Karaka Million night.

Probabeel (O Bosson) and Burgundy Belle (S Rusof) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.0.7.5, last 600 in 38.5. Probabeel aims towards the $1m Karaka Million 2YO event for which she is currently favourite, while Burgundy Belle is another Te Akau contender for the Group 3 Mongolian Khan Trophy.

 

No.2 Sand:

 

On track to resume at Otaki on Monday, Publicist (J Nason) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, quickening in the straight to finish in 42.5.

Wide Awake (J Nason) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 42.

Enduring Love (J Bragg) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 44.5.

Al Haram (D Miller) and Te Akau Dragon (J Nason) paired up to gallop over 800 metres in 50.9, last 600 in 36.5.

Miss Scandinavia (J Nason) and Quattro Katie (J Kamaruddin) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, quickening in the straight to finish in 41.

 

All Weather:

 

Te Akau Shark (C Burdan) galloped on his own over an easy 800 metres in 57.6, home in 43.

Harlow (J Kamaruddin), Diamond Dream (S Rusof) and 2f Savabeel - Banchee (J Nason) galloped over an easy 600 metres in 39.
