Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 2 February -





Fog prevented some
timing





Plough:





Savy Yong Blonk (C. Grylls) and Beau Geste (Miller) went 1200 metres in 1:27.6, last 600m in 40.9. Savy Yong Blonk (Savabeel) followed consecutive wins with a notable run in the Desert Gold Stakes (Gr. 3, 1600m) and is preparing for the $100,000 Cambridge Stud Sir Tristram Fillies Classic (Gr. 2, 2000m) next Saturday, 9 February, at Te Rapa.





Witchery (Bosson)
and Quattro Katie (Harris) ran 1000
metres in 1:05.8, last 600m in 37.4.





Melody Belle
(Harris) and Queen of the Air
(Bosson) ran 1000 metres in 1:06, last 600m in 38.3, both working nicely.





Meritorious
(Kamaruddin) went an easy 800m. Al Haram
(Bosson) and Te Akau Dragon (Nason)
went an easy 1000m.





Military Step
(Burdan) and Man Oh Man (Milller)
worked nicely over 800m in preparation to trial next Tuesday, 5 February, at Te
Aroha. Mary Gold (Bosson) and Miss Scandinavia (Kamaruddin) did
similar work ahead of trialling next Tuesday.
