Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 23 February - 

Course Proper:

You're Welcome (D Miller) and Princess Kereru galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.06.5, last 600 in 36.2. You're Welcome aims toward racing in the Rating 65 1200 metres at Hastings next Wednesday.

Shezathinka (J Nason) and Fabulous Flight (N Bakar) galloped wide over 1200 metres in 1.23, home in 39.5. Dependant on the draw and other conditions, Shezathinka may line up in the $100,000 Group 2 Lowland Stakes (3YOF SW, 2100m) at Hastings next Wednesday. Fabulous Flight aims towards racing at Pukekohe the following day.

Avantage (D Miller) and Our Abbadean (J Kamaruddin) paired up to gallop over 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 39.6.

Golden Age (N Bakar) and Savy Yong Blonk (J Nason) galloped over 1200 metres, running the last 800 in 53, home in 39.1. Golden Age prepares to race in the Maiden 1600 metres at Pukekohe next Thursday and Savy Yong Blonk will race in the Group 3 $70,000 Sunline Vase (3YOF SW, 2100m) at Ellerslie next Saturday.

On track to contest the $60,000 Listed Mufhasa Stakes (3YO SW+P) 1300 metres at Ellerslie next Saturday, Queen Of the Air (D Miller) looked good working over an easy 1000 metres in 1.13.5, last 600 in 42.3.

Building up towards racing at Awapuni next Friday, Witchery (C Grylls) and Al Haram (D Montes de Oca) worked over an easy 1000 metres, running the final 600 in 42.

Xplosion (D Montes de Oca) and Cisjurane (C Grylls) galloped over an easy 600 metres in 41. Crystal Bellini (J Nason) also galloped over an easy 600 metres and ran similar time.

No.2 Sand:

Mongolianconqueror (D Miller) and Kingsguard (N Bakar), followed by Richard Of Yorke (D Montes de Oca), galloped nicely over an easy 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 40.

Oceans Eight (J Nason) galloped on her own over an easy 800 metres in 57, last 600 in 41. Puysegur (J kamaruddin) also worked over an easy 800 metres, running similar times. 

Probabeel (D Miller) worked on her own at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the final 600 in 46.

Willpower (N Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13.6, last 600 in 43.6.

Pacific Coast (J Nason) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 55, home in 41.

Shebringsmerubies (D Montes de Oca) and Twilight Zone (M Grylls) galloped over 800 metres in 50, final 600 in 36.

Man Oh Man (N Bakar) and Our Flying Ace (D Miller) galloped on their own over an easy 800 metres, running the last 600 in 41.5.

2f I Am Invincible - Hurtle Myrtle (J Kamaruddin) and 2g Shamoline Warrior - Baldaque (J Nason) galloped nicely over 600 metres in 39.9.

Dublin Rose (M Grylls) and Firebrand (D Montes de Oca) galloped over 800 metres in 52, last 600 in 36.5. They were followed by Dundeel's Girl (D Miller) and Grand Ariana (N Bakar) who galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56, home in 41. 

Lady Zeraph (D Miller) and English Rose (J Kamaruddin) galloped over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 38.2.

Back
