Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 9 March -
Plough:
Probabeel (P Richards) and Miss Scandinavia (J Kamaruddin) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.11.4, last 600 in 39.9. Probabeel departs for Sydney on Monday to ready for the A$175,000 Group 3 Magic Night Stakes (2YOF SW, 1200m) at Rosehill next Saturday, while Miss Scandinavia aims toward racing in the Rating 65 1400 metres at Matamata next Wednesday.
Preparing to race at Woodville and Matamata next week, Te Akau Dragon (R Hutchings) and Fabulous Flight (D Miller) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.06.9, last 600 in 38.5.
Race rivals Shezathinka (D Miller) and Savy Yong Blonk (R Hutchings) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.25.1, last 600 in 1.08.2. Shezathinka and Savy Yong Blonk are due to take on the Group 1 NZ Oaks at Trentham next Saturday. They were followed by Witchery (M Grylls) and Lord High Spirit (D Montes de Oca) who ran similar times.
Avantage (P Richards) and Lady Zeraph (J Kamaruddin) galloped over 800 metres in 54, last 600 in 38.
O'Pristine (M Grylls) and Exaltation (D Montes de Oca) paired up to gallop over an easy 600 metres in 41.
Status Symbol (R Hutchings) galloped on his own over an easy 800 metres, home in 39.
3f Rip Van Winkle - Surooh (P Richards) and Pinultimate (J Kamaruddin) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 53, last 600 in 41.
Sasso Corbaro (C Grylls), Not Usual Dream (D Miller) and Willpower (R Hutchings) galloped over an easy 1000 metres. Al Haram (C Grylls) galloped over an easy 1200 metres - no times were able to be taken due to thick fog.

In single file; Oceana Lad (D Miller), Byzantine (A Jones) and So You Said(R Hutchings) worked along nicely at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 400 in 30, 200 in 15.
Jack The Ripper (R Hutchings) and Ronaldo's Dream (A Jones) worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres, running the last 400 in 30.
Blitzabeel (R Hutchings) and 2f Savabeel - Banchee (J Kamaruddin) galloped over an easy 800 metres, running the last 400 in 26.5, final 200 in 13.
Crimson Star (A Jones) and 2f Charm Spirit - Applauding (D Montes de Oca) worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres, last 400 in 31.
Baby Shark (D Miller) and Blinder (A Jones), Royal Guard (D Miller) and 2f Darci Brahma - Bon Genie (J Kamaruddin), Zouluminous (D Montes de Oca) and Uber Roca (R Hutchings) all worked in pairs at three quarter pace over 600 metres, running the last 400 in 29.
2f Reliable Man - Scene Queen(C Cole), Asathought (A Jones), 2f Ocean Park - Glitterati (R Hutchings) and Lightning Field (D Montes de Oca) also worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres and ran similar time.
Followed by Vicenza (D Montes de Oca), Excitonic (R Hutchings) and Tam O'Shanter (A Jones) worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres, runningthe last 400 in 27, home in 14.
Rhapsody In Blue (R Hutchings) and Shezawinkle (A Jones) worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres, running the last 400 in 30.
