Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 6 April - 

Plough:

Al Haram (M Grylls) galloped over an easy 1200 metres in 1.24, last 600 in 39.4. Wide Awake (A Jones) also galloped over an easy 1200 metres, and ran similar times.

So you Said (C Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 59, last 600 in 45.

Griffin (R Hutchings) and Duck Road (A Jones) paired up to gallop over an easy 1000 metres in 1.07.5, last 600 in 38.9.

Byzantine (D Montes de Oca) worked on his own at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 44.

Puysegur (J Kamaruddin) and Icebomb (A Jones) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.07, last 600 in 39.6.

Te Akau Dragon (C Leveque) worked on his own over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 40.

Irish Heat (S McKay), Spirit Of Galway (D Montes de Oca) and Folk Dress (J Kamaruddin) all galloped over an easy 800 metres; running similar times of 55, home in 40.

Man Oh Man (D Miller) and Red Jakkal (R Hutchings) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.03, home in 37. Man Oh Man and Red Jakkal both aim toward racing at Otaki next Wednesday. 

Also preparing to race at Otaki next Wednesday, Shebringsmerubies (M Grylls) and Enduring Love (A Jones) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.04, home in 38.

Queen Of The Air (J Bragg) galloped over 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 39.

Enrichment (D Miller) and Rakuten (R Hutchings) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.08, final 600 in 40. Witchery (C Leveque), Kingsguard (D Miller) and Bojangles (D Montes de Oca) also galloped (separately) over an easy 1000 metres and ran the same times.

Quattro Katie (J Bragg) worked on her own over an easy 1000 metres in 1.10, home in 40.

Confectionery (A Jones), Burgundy Rose (M Grylls) and Greedy (J Kamaruddin) all galloped over an easy 600 metres in 42.

Beau Geste (D Miller) galloped an easy 1200 metres in 1.26, home in 42.

Sasso Corbaro (C Grylls) and Princess Kereru (C Lammas) paired up to gallop an easy 1000 metres in 1.03, last 600 in 36.6. Sasso Corbaro is on track to race in the $50,000 Listed Sprint (Open 1200m) at Hastings next Saturday, April 13.

2f Darci Brahma - Bon Genie (J Bragg), Baby Shark (R Hutchings), Lethal (D Danis) and Awareness (D Mones de Oca) all worked on their own at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01, final 600 in 45.

On track to race in the 2YO event at Otaki next Wednesday, Boutonniere (R Hutchings) and Star Of Bombay (A Jones) galloped over 800 metres in 50, last 600 in 37.

Jet Set (D Montes de Oca) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.07, final 600 in 39.

Oceana Lad (R Hutchings) worked in company at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 58, last 600 in 43.

Burgundy Belle (J Kamaruddin) worked on her own at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 44.

English Rose (R Hutchings) galloped over an easy 1200 metres in 1.24, home in 39.3.

Pinultimate (J Kamaruddin) galloped solo over an easy 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 39.6.

Avantage (P Richards) galloped in company over an easy 1000 metres, running the last 200 in 25. It was a nice piece of work and she is on track to race in the A$1m Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint (3YO SW, 1200m) next Saturday, April 13.

Working in the reverse direction yesterday morning at Matamata -

Miss Scandinavia (J Kamaruddin) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.29.

Lilikoi (J Bragg) and 2f I Am Invincible - Hurtle Myrtle (J Kamaruddin) paired up to gallop over an easy 800 metres, running the last 400 in 26.
