Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 27 April -

Thick fog prevented many times being taken.

Course Proper:

English Rose (C Grylls) galloped over an easy 1200 metres, running the last 600 in 41. English Rose aims toward racing at Pukekohe next Friday or Trentham two days later.  

Bypassing the Group 3 Cambridge Breeders Stakes today and aiming toward the $25,000 3YO 1400 metres at Trentham next Sunday, Burgundy Belle (A Jones - below) galloped over 1000 metres, last 600 in 41.5.

Racing at Pukekohe next Friday or Te Rapa the following day, Lady Zeraph (D Miller) galloped over an easy 1200 metres, last 600 in 42.

Icebomb (J Kamaruddin - main picture) and Willpower (D Montes de Oca) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.09, final 600 in 40.5. Icebomb is on track to race in the Rating 72 1200 metres at Pukekohe on Friday, while Willpower has options at Te Rapa on Saturday and Matamata the following week.

Readying for the Listed 2YO Stakes at Te Rapa next Saturday, Folk Dress (C Grylls) and Louis Luck (C Burdan) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.09.1, home in 39.5.

With options to race later next week, Qian Gua (D Miller) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.11, last 600 in 41.

No.2 Sand:

Byzantine (D Montes de Oca) galloped nicely over an easy 1000 metres. 

Bak Da Master (D Miller) galloped solo over an easy 1200 metres. 

Summer Monsoon (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres. 

Cavort (C Grylls) and 3f Rip Van Winkle - Surooh (J Kamaruddin), Jakkabella (C Burdan) and Grand Ariana (J Kamaruddin) galloped in pairs over an easy 800 metres.
