Course Proper:

Preparing to race at Te Rapa on Wednesday, Miss Hepburn (D Montes de Oca) and Cicciolina (A Jones) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres in 1.08.3, home in 38.7.

Also racing at Te Rapa on Wednesday, Spirit Of Galway (A Collett) galloped nicely on her own over 1000 metres in 1.04, last 600 in 39.

Building toward racing in the 3YO 1400 metre event at Ellerslie next Saturday, Burgundy Belle (J Kamaruddin) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 41. She was followed by Sasso Corbaro (A Collett) who ran similar times and also prepares to race at Ellerslie next Saturday.
