Preparing to race next Wednesday at Te Teko, Tavis Star (Hercock) worked over 1200m. She ran the 1000m in 1:09 and last 600m in 37.5. Tavis Star (Tavistock) takes very good form to the $12k Rating 65 Fillies & Mares 1600 metres. Miss Chief (Roff) worked over the same trip, running 1:11 for the 1000m and last 600m in 39. Miss Chief (Keeper) contests the Maiden 1400 metres. Dropping back in distance for the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres, Scandinavian (Zac-Syed) ran 1000m in 1:10, last 600m in 39. Ahead of the Maiden 1600 metres, Bordeaux (Hercock) covered 1000m in 1:08, last 600m in 38, after picking up pace from the 1200m.

Bettorock (Zac-Syed - main pic near camera) and Bon Marche (Hercock) worked together over 800m in 53, last 600m in 39, ahead of the trials next Tuesday at Avondale. Also trialling, Prince Henry (Hercock) went 800m in 54, last 600m in 40 and Star of Greenbeel (Hercock) clocked 55 and 40.
