Course Proper: thick fog prevented times being taken

Preparing to race in the Maiden 3YO 1100 metres at Matamata on Wednesday, Rhapsody In Blue (M McNab) and Ronaldo's Dream (M Roustoby) galloped over 800 metres.

Also racing at Matamata, Qian Gua (D Montes de Oca) looked good galloping over 1000 metres.

On track to take on the Group 1 Tarzino Trophy (WFA, 1400m) at Hastings next Saturday, Melody Belle (M McNab) worked over an easy 1000 metres.

Equinox (D Miller) and Meteoric Lass
(M Roustoby) galloped nicely over 1000 metres. Equinox builds toward
racing in the Listed El Roca - Sir Colin Meads Trophy (3YO SW+P, 1200m)
at Hastings next Saturday, while Meteoric Lass has options at both
Hastings and Ruakaka (on the same day).

Burgundy Belle (J Kamaruddin) galloped over an easy 1000 metres and readies to resume in the Rating 72 1300 metres at Hastings next Saturday.

No.2 Sand: 

Super Sid (M McNab) galloped nicely on his own over 800 metres in 52.5, last 600 in 37.7. 

Exaltation (D Montes de Oca) galloped nicely over 800 metres in 55, home in 40. Sword Of Osman (C Burdan) also looked good galloping over 800 metres, running similar times.

Lucky Shark (D Miller) and Greedy (J Kamaruddin) galloped over 800 metres in 53, home in 37. Byzantine (M McNab) and Ristretto (M Roustoby) also worked (separately) over 800 metres and ran home in similar time.

Golden Age (D Montes de Oca) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, home in 43.

Avantage (M McNab) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.06, last 600 in 38.

Family Time (D Miller) and Scottish Star (M Roustoby) galloped over 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 40.

Miss Scandinavia (M Roustoby) looked good galloping over an easy 800 metres, last 600 in 40.

Romantic Lady (M McNab) and Grand Ariana (J Kamaruddin) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.05.2, last 600 in 37.2.

In A Twinkling (D Miller) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.08.5, home in 39.4.

Ocean Belle (M Roustoby) and Willpower (D Montes de Oca) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, last 600 in 44.9.

Meritorious (M McNab) and Hierarchy (D Montes de Oca) galloped over 800 metres in 51.1, final 600 in 36.2.

Faltonius (D Miller) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01.
