Te Akau trackwork highlights - Saturday 4 January -

Plough:

Ristretto (C Thornton) and Irish Heart (M Roustoby) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14, home in 44. Ginger Too (P Richards) also worked at three quarter pace and ran similar times. 

Kylie Bax (M Roustoby) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, quickening in the last 600 to finish in 42.

Avantage (J Kamaruddin) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres.   

Cool Aza Beel (T Harris) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 41.

Griffin (A Jones) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 55, home in 41.

Combat Queen (T Harris) pleased when galloping over an easy 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 41. 

Melody Belle (J Kamaruddin) looked good working her last 600 in 44.7.

Zouluminous (M Roustoby) Bordeaux Le Rouge (C Thornton) paired up to gallop over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09.6, final 600 in 40.

Duck Road (P Richards) galloped solo over an easy 800 metres, home in 39.

Romantic Lady (A Jones) and Equinox (T Harris) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.05,last 600 in 37.2.

Te Akau Caliburn (P Richards) worked over an easy 800 metres in 56.8, final 600 in 42.

Burgundy Belle (T Harris) worked over an easy 800 metres in 58, last 600 in 43.

Mongolianconqueror (T Harris) and She's Not Bad (A Jones) galloped nicely together over 1200 metres in 1.23.8, home in 39.7.

Phantom Witness (S Pillay) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, home in 44.

Rakuten (A Jones) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01.9, home in 46.3.

Reverse direction Friday morning:

Cornflower Blue (C Thornton) and Under Her Spell (M Roustoby) galloped over an easy 800 metres, last 400 in 26.9. Amarelinha (T Harris) and Felicienne (J Kamaruddin) also galloped over an easy 800 metres, running the last 400 in 27.3.

Scott Base (O Bosson) and Leaderboard (M McNab) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.05.4, last 200 in 12.3.

3f Niagara - My Secret (C Thornton) and It's My Party (F Griffiths) galloped over an easy 800 metres, running the last 400 in 27.7, home in 13.9. Saint Hilaire (T Harris) and Garbo (J Kamaruddin) looked good running the same time.

Te Akau Shark (O Bosson) galloped over an easy 800 metres, last 400 in 27.2, 200 in 13.7. Sword Of Osman (M McNab) followed and ran similar times. 

Vicenza (M Roustoby) and Aromatic (A Jones) galloped over 800 metres, running the last 400 in 23.8, 200 in 12.2.

The Panther (T Harris) and 3g Deep Field - Sravana (A Jones) galloped nicely over 800 metres, running the last 400 in 28.7, home in 13.

2c Pierro - Rose of Pania (M McNab) and 2c Rip Van Winkle - On The Move (O Bosson) galloped over an easy 600 metres, running the last 400 in 26.5, final 200 in 13. 2g Darci Brahma - More Than A Chance (R Alam) and 2g Outreach - Poppy's Pond (M Roustoby) also worked over 600 metres and ran similar times. 

3g Sacred Falls - Foiled (M Roustoby) and Hot Off The Press (C Thornton) galloped over an easy 800 metres, running the last 400 in 25.6, home in 12.1. Celestial Crown (T Harris) and Miss Aotearoa (A Jones) 26.3, 12.7 ran similar times.

Markus Aurelius (M McNab) and Need I Say More (O Bosson) galloped over an easy 800 metres, running 400 in 27, last 200 in 13.2. 2g Rip Van Winkle - Nightofpassion (M Roustoby) also worked over 800 metres (in company), and ran similar times.  

2c Savabeel - Saoirse (O Bosson) and 2f Jimmy Choux - Keffiya (T Harris) galloped over an easy 600 metres, last 400 in 25.8, final 200 in 12.8. They were followed by The Mighty Spar (M McNab) who worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres in 46.
