Preparing to race at Avondale on Wednesday, Lucky Shark (T Harris) and Rakuten (S Pillay) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.04.6, home in 35.7.
Te Akau Caliburn (S Pillay) and Byzantine (T Harris) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres in 1.05.1, last 600 in 35.5.
Prise De Fer (T Harris) galloped on his own over an easy 1200 metres in 1.21.4, last 600 in 39.6. Prise De Fer builds toward the $80,000 Group 3 Taranaki Cup at New Plymouth on 1 February.
