Te Akau trackwork highlights – Saturday 1 August –  

Course Proper:

Mazzuro (C Burdan) and Remington (D Montes de Oca) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.09, home in 39.5.

Lilikoi (J Kamaruddin) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 38.1.

Al Haram (M Grylls) and Bak Da Master (M Roustoby) galloped nicely (on their own) over an easy 1200 metres, running the last 600 in 40. 


No.2 Sand:

Savy Yong Blonk (H Durrant) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 38.6.

Luminous (J Kamaruddin) and Romantic Lady (C Burdan) looked good galloping over an easy 1000 metres in 1.11, home in 41.

Summer Monsoon (H Durrant) and Shezathinka (D Montes de Oca) galloped over 800 metres in 52, last 600 in 39.

Reverse direction yesterday morning –


No.2 Sand:

High Achiever (C Burdan) worked on his own at three quarter pace over 800 metres, final 400 in 29.8.

In single file: Keke Star (A Jones), Kahma Lass (F Griffths) Confectionery (H Durrant), Devoted (M Roustoby) and Radegast (D Montes de Oca) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, home in 29. 

Maasir (A Jones), Wychwood (D Montes de Oca) and Laurentium (M Roustoby) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, last 400 in 29.5.

Moir Appiel (D Montes de Oca) and 2f Darci Brahma – Quintette (C Thornton) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, home in 31.


All Weather:

1c Extreme Choice – Unrevealed (C Burdan) and Armoury (S Pillay) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 400 metres in 28.3.

Ambitious Intent (A Jones) galloped in company over an easy 400 metres in 27.2
