Te Akau Weekend Trackwork

Te Akau track work Saturday 1 August - the first day of the new 2015/16 season -

Fog prevented a majority of the timing.

Sand track:

Gardenier (K. Price) looked good when working solo over 800m. Splurge (Ritchie) and Xtravagant (Hercock) worked to the line together over 800m. Love Actually (Hanafi) and Thetruthisoutthere (Gomas) both worked well over 800m. Ekraarstatic (K. Price) and Vive La Difference (Zac-Syed) also went well over 800m.

Beacon of Hope (Ritchie) and Scrutinize (Ritchie) worked nicely together over 800m. Esprit De Corps (Richards) went an easy 800m solo. Lady Pinot (Hanafi) and Our Abbadean (Mathewson) worked together over 800m. Flaming (Zac-Syed) and Risque (R. Jones) each produced nice work over 800m. Duchess Kate (R. Jones) and Princess Davone (Mathewson) both went through the line nicely at the end of 800m.

Fastnet Fire (Zac-Syed) and Interstellar (Gomas) went together over 800m. Amperage (Zac-Syed) and Rocksun (Hercock) went nicely over 800m. Love Triangle (Herock) and Special Memories (R. Jones) both worked very well over 800m. Court Case (Richards) and 2 g Paco Boy - L'Accord (Ritchie) went together over 800m.

1 f Darci Brahma - Corsage (Hanafi) and 1 g Pour Moi - Madam Stravinsky (Zac-Syed) worked on terms over 600m. 1 g Charge Forward - Catbird Kitty (Mathewson) and 1 f Saperavi - Primo Quest (Fawcett) worked well together over 600m.

Coincidence (Zac-Syed) worked solo over 1000m at three-quarter pace. Christine Louise (Mathewson) and Niamh Elizabeth (Hanafi) did similar work over 1000m. Bordeaux (Mathewson) had some spark in his work over 800m at three-quarter pace.

2 g Postponed - Promissory (Ritchie - main picture left) and 2 g Sakhee's Secret - Spin ‘n Grin (Richards - main picture right) covered 800m in 55.4, last 600m in 39.1. Vintage Verdot (Ritchie) and Zambezi Warrior (Richards) went 800m in 54.8, last 600m in 38.6.

Queen Cha Cha (Zac-Syed - pictured below) covered 800m in 1.03, last 600m in 43.

Imperium (K. Price) and Hushed (Zac-Syed) worked together over 800m.
