Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 8 August -
Sand track:
Bon Marche (Grylls) and Skyscraper (Hercock) worked nicely together over 1200 metres. They covered the 1000m in 1:07, last 600m in 37.5. Bon Marche (Nom Du Jeu) holds a nomination for the Maiden 1400 metres next Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Ruakaka.
Coincidence (Hercock) and Tatters (Grylls) went 1000m in 1:10, last 600m in 40, with both working nicely through the line. They are earmarked for the meeting next Friday, Aug. 14, at Avondale.
Lady Painton (Lammas) and Niamh Elizabeth (R. Jones) were followed at an interval by Christine Louise (Colemen) over 1000m in 1:09.3. Lady Painton (Tavistock) and Niamh Elizabeth (Per Incanto) are scheduled to debut over 1200 metres next Wednesday at Ruakaka, while Christine Louise (O'Reilly) is looking to kick off next Friday at Avondale.
Linchpin (Hercock - main picture) was followed at an interval by Its Our Showtime (Lammas - pictured above) over 800m at three-quarter pace.
Windborne (Lammas) pleased her rider over 800m at three-quarter pace.
2f Redwood - Volks Princess experiences her first morning at the track - being saddled up by co-trainer Stephen Autridge and foreman Stephen O'Neill.
Highly Likely (Hanafi) went well over 2000m at three-quarter pace.
