Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 15 August - 

Adverse conditions prevented some timing.

Sand track:

Preparing to race next Wednesday at Taupo, Prince Henry (Zac-Syed) went 1000m in 1:08, last 600m in 39.5. Making their debuts at the same meeting, Amperage (Ritchie) and Beacon of Hope (Lammas) both appeared to be working nicely over 1000m and pleased their riders. As too Rocksun (Lammas) who worked with race winner Special Memories (Miller) over 1000m, each going well, while another debutante Thetruthisoutthere (Zac-Syed) and Love Actually (Hanafi) went together over 1000m.

Risque (Miller) and Windborne (Lammas) both worked very well over 800m. Risque (Darci Brahma) has been nominated for both the Maiden 1000 metres and 3YO Fillies 1100 metres. Windborne (Darci Brahma) is scheduled to trial over 1000 metres prior to the start of the meeting.

Wolfwhistle (Hanafi) ran a quiet 800m, ahead of trialling over 1200 metres next Wednesday at Taupo.

Ekraarstatic (Miller) and Imperium (K. Price) galloped together over 1000m in 1:06.5. Red Poppy (Hanafi) went nicely over 800m.

Sylvia's Special (Hanafi), Lady Jasmine (Miller) and 2 f Alamosa - Zorina (K. Price) worked as a trio over 600m on the all-weather track.
