Te Akau track work highlight Saturday 29 August -
Course proper (Slow):
Vive La Difference (Hercock) did her work well over 1000 metres in 1:09.5, last 600m in 37.4.
Sand track:
Lady Painton (Miller) and Tatters (Hercock) worked together over 1000m. They ran the 800m in 52, last 600m 37.8. Tatters worked the better of the two. Astrid (Zac-Syed) went an easy 800m in 53. Just Call Me Riley (Richards) and 3 g Savabeel - Starring (Ritchie) covered an easy 800m in 56.5.
Niamh Elizabeth (Zac-Syed) and Princess Davone (Coleman) galloped 1000 metres in 1:04.8, last 600m 36.
Primrose (Hercock) and Windborne (Coleman - pictured winning last season) both worked well over 800m in 53, last 600m in 37.5.
Sand track, three-quarter pace:
Bordeaux (Ritchie) and 3 g Saperavi - Aventura (Richards) worked together over 800m, with Bordeaux working excellently. Echezeaux (Hercock) worked beautifully over 800m.
All-weather track:
Bon Marche (Zac-Syed) travelled well over 1000m at three-quarter pace. Fas (K. Price) and Hysteria Lane (Gomas) went an easy 800m in 52, last 600m in 39.5.
