Te Akau track work highlights Saturday 19 December -

Plough:

Fog prevented some timing.

Duchess Kate (Hercock) and Opulent (R. Jones) both worked well when paired together over 1000m in 1:01, last 600m in 35.8.

Bounteous (Hercock) and Red Poppy (Miller) ran 1000m in 1:03.5, last 600m in 36.4. It was good work by both horses.

Vinevale (Lammas - main picture) looked spot on when running 1000m in 1:06.5, last 600m in 39.5.

Ekraarstatic (Hercock) cover 1200m in 1:18.7, last 600m in 37.5. She was tracked along by Our Drahma Queen (Miller).

Vive La Difference (Miller) pleased the rider when going an easy 1000m. Astrid (Hercock) travelled kindly over an easy 1000m in 1:08. Flaming (Miller) looked good when going an easy 1000m.

Zambezi Warrior (Ritchie) worked positively over 1000m with blinkers on. Maestro (Ritchie) worked over a round, running the last 1000m in 1:12.

Plough, three-quarter pace:

Cathedral Cove (Richards) worked nicely over 1000m. Scandinavian (Richards) ran 1200m in 1:23.

All-weather track, three-quarter pace:

Skyscraper (Lammas) 1000m, Lady Jasmine (Fawcett) and 2 g Charge Forward - Catbird Kitty (Hanafi) were paired over 600m, 2 f Murtajill - Forbetterforworse (Hercock), 2 g O'Reilly - Barbara Ann (Gerard) and 2 f Savabeel - Catalina (Hanafi) worked together over 400m.
