Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 8 October -

Flemington:

Shillelagh (K. Jones) worked over 1000 metres in 1.04, last 600 in 36. The daughter of Savabeel looks to have bounced through last Saturday's victory and is primed for the Group Three Ladies' Vase on Wednesday at Caulfield.

Matamata - No. 2 Sand:

Beaumarchais (Miller) and Shocking Luck (Fawcett) ran 1000 metres in 1.04.2, last 600 in 36.1. The pair have both been nominated for the Maiden 3YO 1400 metre race at Ruakaka meeting on Wednesday.

All-weather:

Gold Fever (K. Price) and 2f Burgundy - Ensorcelez (Hillis) ran 600 in 44.5.

Maleficent (Zha), Madam Monica (Fawcett) & Herschal (Lammas) worked over 1000 metres in 1.03.1. The trio also heads towards Ruakaka on Wednesday, Maleficent (Rip Van Winkle) has been nominated for the Maiden 1400, Monica Monica (Mastercraftsman) Maiden 3YO 1400 & Herschal (Savabeel) Maiden 1200 metres.

Riccarton:

O'Naturelle (Didham) and Imperium (Shailer) ran 1000 metres in 1.08.

Latin Rose (Shailer) worked over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace.

Friday 7 October -

Matamata - No. 2 Sand:

Tiffany's Time (Miller) ran 1000 metres in 1.07.5, last 400 in 23.4. Corporate Missile (Zha) and Epic Tale (Fawcett) followed running similar time.

Foreigner (McNab) worked with Ocean Rock (Lammas) over 1000 metres in 1.03.3, last 400 in 23.1

King Kane (McNab) and Wide Awake (Lammas) worked over 1000 metres in 1.05.2, last 400 in 23.7.
