Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 12 November

Course proper - slow:

Madam Monica (Miller) worked with a partner over 1200 metres in 1.23, last 600 in 40. She heads to Avondale on Tuesday 15 November for the Maiden 1600 metre race.

Rocksun (McNab) and Vinevale (Miller) worked together over 1000 metres in 1.11, last 600 in 41. The pair heads towards the Rating 75 1400 metre event at Awapuni next Saturday 19 November.

Grazia (Fawcett) and Primrose (Lammas) ran 1000 metres in 1.07.2, last 600 in 39.1. The full-sister to Shillelagh, Grazia (Savabeel) will resume next week at either Avondale on Tuesday 15 November or New Plymouth on Friday 18 November in a Maiden 1400 metre race. While Primrose will be nominated for both meetings also.

Exhibition (McNab) worked in company with Fastnet Fire (Miller) over 1000 metres in 1.08.3, last 600 in 40.1. Both also will be entered for the Avondale and Taranaki meetings.

Melody Belle (Lammas) and Gold Fever (Fawcett) prepared for their races next weekend by working over 800 metres in 53.8, last 600 in 39.5. Ruakaka winner Melody Belle (Commands) will take on stakes company next Saturday at Pukekohe in the Listed Murdoch Newell Stakes over 1100 metres, while Gold Fever (Savabeel) will make her race day debut at Te Rapa on Sunday in the 2YO event over 1000 metres.

Zambezi Warrior (McNab) worked on his own over 1200 metres in 1.26, last 600 in 43. The son of Pentire heads to Taranaki to tackle the Rating 85 1800 metre contest.

No.2 Sand:

Last start winner at Rotorua, Paradise Rock (Leveque) went 1200 metres in 1.26.5, last 600 in 42.7. He will look to put two together next Friday 18 November at New Plymouth in the Rating 65 1800 metre event.

3f Pins - Lillet (Miller) and Zavistic (Tan) worked over 800 metres, running their last 600 in 45.5.

Maleficent (Fawcett) looked good running 1200 metres, running her last 600 in 43.5.

Vive La Difference (Cole) ran 1200 metres, last 600 in 46.

Chadsdale (McNab) went 800 metres in 1.02, last 600 in 46.

Zip Zap (K. Price) was tracked by 2f Not A Single Doubt - Ban The Recorder (Hillis) over 800 metres in 1.00, last 600 in 44.8.

Recent stable addition Kingsman (McNab) worked over 800 metres in 59.6, last 600 in 44.6.
