Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 26 November -

Course Proper:

Abidewithme (M. Grylls) and Echezeaux (Leveque) prepared to head to Trentham next Saturday by working over 1200 metres in 1.27, last 600 in 40.3.

Smashing (Lammas - below left) and Melody Belle (Fawcett - below right) left behind 800 metres in 53, last 600 in 38.6. This pair also heads to Trentham next Saturday.

Zambezi Warrior (Miller - main picture) worked well over 1200 metres in a comfortable 1.32.3, last 600 in 44.

Lady Jasmine (Lammas) and Dame Margo Fonetyn (Leveque) worked well over 1000 metres in 1.07.7, last 600 in 39.6.


No.2 Sand - fog prevented some timings:

Grazia (Leveque) worked with a partner over 1200 metres in 1.25.

Alamosa Express (Pinn) and Exhibition (Miller) matched strides over 1000 metres in 1.08. Alamosa Express (Alamosa) will make his debut this week at either Pukekohe on Wednesday or New Plymouth on Thursday.

Fashionably (Cole) and Pure Savalina (Fawcett) looked strong at the end of 1000 metres in 1.10. Both fillies have been nominated for the Pukekohe meeting on Wednesday in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metre event.

Lucy Wyldstyle (Lammas) and Savvy Lady (Fawcett) felt good for their riders over 1000 metres.

Xtravagant (Miller) pleased his rider and co-trainer Stephen Autridge with his work over 800 metres this morning.

Paradise Rock (Leveque) completed 1200 metres in 1.25. He pleased us with his work as he heads to New Plymouth on Thursday for the Rating 65 1800 metre race.

Fastnet Fire (Fawcett) worked with Maleficent (Lammas) over 1200 metres, last 1000 metres in 1.06.

Epic Tale (Miller) in company with Don'tblamethemusic (M. Grylls) worked over 1000 metres.

Hushed (K. Price) worked over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace while Alrina (Hillis) covered 800 metres at three-quarter pace.


All-Weather:

Astrid (Leveque) look good crossing the line after 800 metres at three-quarter pace.
