Te Akau track work highlights Saturday 27 May -

Matamata:

Course Proper:

Out wide on a very heavy course proper Lucy Wyldstyle (Fawcett) and Savvy Lady (McNab) paired up to run 1000 metres in 1.12.7, last 600 in 42. Both horses are schedued to race at Matamata on Wednesday 31 May.

No. 2 Sand:

2f Reliable Man - Double Babu (M Grylls) and 2f Rock ‘N' Pop - Doyenne (Leveque) travelled over 600 metres in 41. Both horses are on target to trial at Waipa this Tuesday (30 May).

The Chaser (K Price), who has recently returned to the stable, travelled over 1000 metres in 1.16.

2f He's Remarkable - Andra (Leveque) and 2f Super Easy - Flower Girl (Lammas) worked well at three quarter pace over 600 metres - no time was recorded.

Inside Grass:

Splurge (K Jones) worked over 1000 metres in 1.05.2, last 600 in 37.2. Both rider and co-trainer Jamie Richards were very pleased with his work.
