Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 30 September -

Course Proper:

Gingernuts (McNab) and Chance To Dance (Lammas) galloped together over an easy 1200 metres in 1.21.7, last 600 in 39.1. Both horses worked well as they build towards the Group One Livamol Classic at Hastings next Saturday.

Irish Cream (McNab) and Nucleonic (Lammas) galloped over 800 metres in 54.3, last 600 in 39.2. Irish Cream has been nominated for the 2YO event at Ruakaka this Wednesday, while Nucleonic is due to trial again at Cambridge on Tuesday.

Embellish (Pinn) and Hushed (Lammas) worked over 1000 metres in 1.07.8, home in 38.9. Both horses are set to contest their respective races at Ruakaka this Wednesday.

Zambezi Warrior (Pinn) and Mongolianconqueror (McNab) 1200 1.22.5, last 600 in 39.2. Zambezi Warrior is set to trial at Cambridge on Tuesday and Mongolianconqueror is scheduled for the Maiden 1600 metres at Ruakaka on Wednesday.

Race day rivals Royal Success (Lammas) and Beaumarchais (McNab) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 40.1. They enjoyed their work and are due to race in the Rating 85 1400 metres at Ruakaka on Wednesday.

Bak Da Master (Bakar) and Cousteau (McNab) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.08.6, last 600 in 40.5. Bak Da Master is aiming toward racing at Te Aroha on 8 October, while Cousteau is aiming toward Te Rapa on 6 October.

All Weather:

Splurge (K Shailer) galloped very well over 800 metres in 57.8, last 600 in 41.6.

Pure Savalina (Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, no time was taken but she looked to be working strongly.

Dazed And Confused (Bakar) and 3g Reliable Man - Colheita (Pinn) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 43.5.

Don'tblamethemusic (Bakar) galloped over 800 metres in 49, last 600 in 37.

Lady Painton (Lammas) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, no time was taken but Lammas reported she worked well .

No 2. Sand:

Heroic Valour (McNab) enjoyed working at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 59.8, last 600 in 45.

Verbal Command (Burdan) and Epic Tale (Tan) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 800 in 53.6, last 600 in 40.1. Both horses are due to line up in Maiden events at Ruakaka next Wednesday.

Melody Belle (Leveque) worked well at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 45.1.

Unfazed (K Price) and Devil May Care (Bakar) galloped over 800 metres in 52.1, last 600 38.1.

Winehouse (Lammas) looked good galloping over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 40.5.

Princess Davone (M Grylls) and Vinevale (Leveque) worked over 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 42.4. Both horses are building towards the Rating 75 1200 metres at Te Rapa next Friday.

Burlone (M Grylls) and Pop Diva (Tan) paired up to gallop 800 metres in 53.5, last 600 in 38.4.
