Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 7 October -
Course Proper:
Wide Awake (Tan) worked in company over 1000 metres in 1.08.3, 41.2.
Wandering Eye (Tan) and Te Akau Shark (Burdan) galloped well over 1000 metres in 1.07.1 home in 38.6.
Lucy Wyldstyle (Bakar) and More Than Fast (Pinn) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.09.5, home in 40.3. Both horses galloped well and are set to race at Taupo next Wednesday.
All Weather:
The Chaser (Alam) and 3g Reliable Man - Colheita (Pinn) galloped an easy 800 metres, no times were taken but they looked to be working along nicely.
No 2. Sand:
Tatters (Burdan) and Savvy Lady (Tan) galloped nicely over 800 metres in 52, last 600 in 37.8.
English Rose (Bakar) worked solo at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 44.
3f Burgundy - Aventura (Burdan) and Scarlet Princess (Bakar) galloped over 800 metres in 52.4, last 600 in 38.1.
Lady Painton (M Grylls) and Accumulation / 3g Rip Van Winkle - Vega Sicilia (Tan) galloped an easy 800 metres in 53, last 600 in 38. They were followed by Melody Belle (K Jones) who ran similar times.
