Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 14 October -

Course Proper:

Two-year-old fillies Dublin Rose (McNab) and Queen Of The Air (Bakar) galloped well over 800 metres in 53.3, last 600 in 39.3. Dublin Rose is set to make her race day debut at Te Aroha this Wednesday and Queen Of The Air is preparing for the Listed 2YO 1000 metres at Trentham near the end of October.

Hushed (K Price) in preparation to race at Hastings next Sunday (22 October) galloped over an easy 1200 metres, running the last 600 in 43.

Royal Success (McNab) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.10.1, home in 41. He builds towards the Rating 85 1400 metres at Rotorua next Saturday.

Splurge (McNab) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09.6, last 600 in 40. Splurge is aiming towards the WFA 1215 metres at Rotorua next Saturday.

English Rose (Bakar) and Bak Da Master (Pinn) worked well over 1000 metres. No times were taken but both horses prepare for the Maiden 3YO 1400 metres at Te Aroha this Wednesday.

Zambezi Warrior (Pinn) and Fashionably (Tan) galloped well over 1000 metres in 1.07, last 600 in 39. Fashionaly has been scratched from Matamata today and will race at Te Aroha next Wednesday while Zambezi Warrior is scheduled to resume at Rotorua next Saturday.

Aquilo (Pinn) and Melody Belle (McNab) galloped nicely over 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 39.

 

All Weather:

Vinevale (Tan) and Pure Savalina (Leveque) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.06.2, last 600 in 38.5. Pure Savalina is on target to race at Tauranga on Friday while Vinevale works towards the rescheduled Hastings' meeting next Sunday.

Don'tblamethemusic (H Lowry) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15. Princess Davone (M Grylls) also worked over 1000 metres in simiar time. Both horses are headed towards the Rating 75 1215 metre event at Rotorua next Saturday.

Military Power (Alam) and Our Flying Ace (Pinn) galloped an easy 600 metres in 43

3g Rock 'N' Pop - Our Zara (Leveque) and Sword Of Osman (Tan) galloped well over an easy 600 metres in 41. Miss Hepburn (Burdan) and Wondering (Tan) also paired up to work over 600 metres, running similar times.

Faltonius (Pinn) and Te Akau Dragon (McNab) looked good galloping an easy 600 metres in 40.2.

Enduring Love (Leveque) and 2f Snitzel - Enduja (H Lowry) galloped nicely over 600 metres in 40.

 

No 2. Sand:

3f Burgundy - Squall (K Price) worked solo at three quarter pace over 800 metres - no times were taken.

Heroic Valour (McNab) and Chambord (Pinn) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.07, home in 38.

Dazed And Confused (Bakar) and Summer Monsoon (K Price) paired up to gallop over an easy 800 metres in 57.3, home in 41.

Witchery (Leveque) worked solo at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 45.

Savvy Lady (Burdan) and Elegant D'Oro (Tan) both galloped well over 800 metres in 54, last 600 in 38.

Mongolianconqueror (McNab) galloped well over an easy 1200 metres, running 1000 in 1.10.8, last 600 in 41.3. Mongolianconqueror looks on song to contest the Maiden 1600 metres at Tauranga next Friday.

Madam Monica (Burdan) and Devil May Care (Bakar) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.07.1, last 600 in 37.5 Both horses are in line for Maiden events at Te Aroha next Wednesday.

Status Symbol (Pinn) and Motivation (McNab) galloped over 800 metres in 52, last 600 in 37.

Our Abbadean (Leveque) and Gris Dame (Tan) looked good galloping over 1000 metres in 1.08, home in 39. Gris Dame is set to make her race day debut in the 3YO event at Tauranga next Friday while Our Abbadean is due to resume at Rotorua on the Saturday.

Unfazed (Bakar) and Full Of Grace (Burdan) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.04, last 600 in 37.5.

Why Ports (H Lowry) and Burlone (M Grylls) galloped over 800 metres in 53.3, running home in 37.5.

Abbey Kay (Bakar) and Scarlet Princess (K Price) galloped over 800 metres in 53, last 600 in 39.
