Te Akau Whangarei Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the eight-race programme on Saturday July 26 at Ruakaka.

As on Friday July 25 the conditions were: showery and Slow7, rail out 1.5 metres.

3:39pm R7 1 All Decked Out (3 c Darci Brahma - Diamond Deck) - Leith Innes; scored an authoritative debut win here on July 13 last year in the 2YO 1200 metres on dead ground. At his next outing, also here in the Westbury 3YO Challenge (Listed, 1200m), he sustained a massive run from well back for third to El Roca (Fastnet Rock), only to then be beaten by a nose on Oct. 5 in the Hawkes Bay Guineas (Gr. 2, 1400m) on good footing at Hastings. Resuming off 212-days in the Benchmark 65 1200 metres, his exposed form, not only at the races but also at the trials, should see him competitive here.
