Te Akau Wodonga Tuesday Preview
16 September, 2025
Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Tuesday 16 September at Wodonga (Victoria).
Wodonga:
Weather: showers, track: Soft6, rail: true. 3mls rain forecast Tuesday.
3:30 p.m. (NZ time) R1 8 Mcwoody (3 c Alabama Express – Queen Ouija) – Patrick Moloney; he ran home well for third in a 1400-metre jump out on 1 September at Cranbourne, won by stable-mate Azazel (Shocking) who debuted with victory on 11 September at Seymour. One of two stable runners making their debut in the A$32,000 Maiden 1590 metres, he is drawn (2) to receive an economical trip. NZ TAB fixed odds: $4.20 & $1.50.
3:30 p.m. (NZ time) R1 11 Crismera (3 f Frankel – Dice Game) – Liam Riordan; she warmed up nicely to finish third in a 1400-metre jump out on 8 September at Cranbourne, and also has her first start in the Maiden 1590 metres. By highest rated sire in the world, Frankel (Galileo), she is out of an unraced mare by Champion Sire Shamardal (Giant’s Causeway). She looks bred to stay on pedigree and is ideally drawn (3) to commence her racing career with a solid effort. NZ TAB fixed odds: $3.20 & $1.35.
