Te Akau's Terrific RTR Purchases

Te Akau's David Ellis has completed his buying at this week's New Zealand Bloodstock Ready to Run Sale.

Not only was David the number 1 buyer of the sale, seeing off a very strong international buying bench, he also secured the top priced lot of the sale - a stunning High Chaparral colt out of a Zabeel mare, knocked down to him for $430,000.

Here is the list of Te Akau's purchases:

Lot 5 Guillotine/Flood colt - $60,000 - this horse is one of two horses in our Te Akau "Straight to Singapore" Syndicate - only 50% of this syndicate remains with a 10% share in both horses costing only $10,000 - both horses will head to Singapore to be trained by Mark Walker.

Lot 126 - Iffraaj/Miss Downey colt - $70,000 - SOLD

Lot 191 Shinko King/Red Carerra gelding - $40,000 - the second horse in Te Akau's "Straight to Singapore" Syndicate - see details under Lot 5 - 50% remains
