2:05 p.m. R1 11 Dujardin (3 f Hello Youmzain – Equestrienne) – Opie Bosson; she raced on the speed, took over, and was only claimed late to finish third in the Maiden 1600 metres on 19 January at Wanganui. Contesting the $25,000 Entain/NZB Insurance Pearl Series Maiden Fillies & Mares 1600 metres (eligible $26,000 bonuses), she is again a top three prospect jumping from barrier six in what has ended up being a solid field. Fixed odds: $5.00 & $2.05.

6:14 p.m. R8 3 Cease And Desist (3 g Zoustar – No Evidence Needed) – Opie Bosson; he sustained a strong finish for second in the Maiden 1400 metres on 2 January at Tauranga, and delivered the deciding strides near the line to win the Maiden 1600 metres on 23 January at Matamata, each with Bosson aboard. Contesting the $25,000 Rating 65 1600 metres, he again looks to be competitive despite stepping up in grade. Fixed odds: $3.60 & $1.70.
