Heat 4 2YO 600 metres (3 lengths, ¾ lengths 35.23)
Vive La Difference (2 f Choisir - L'Artiste) - Matt Cameron; given time to find her feet, she saved ground near the rail, quickened to challenge and kept up a strong gallop for third.
2 f Any Suggestion - Spanish Lullaby - Samantha Collett; jumped well from the outside gate, but a bit field shy she was steadied rearward and tracked up behind the other runners in a good educational trial.
Heat 5 2YO 600 metres (¾ lengths, 2 lengths 35.45)
2 f Encosta De Lago - Mexican Rose - Samantha Collett; jumped away swiftly to lead, cornered nicely, showed a good action, ran straight and strong to record a very good win.
Irish Mystic (2 f O'Reilly - Lodore Mystic) - Matt Cameron; began well to situate outside the leader, kept a good line in professional manner and ran home strongly for third.
Heat 11 Maiden 1200 metres (½ head, ¾ lengths 1:14.22)
Peerage (4 g O'Reilly - Chimeara) - Matt Cameron; was narrowly in front deep on the track and rounded off solidly amongst a line of horses in the straight for a close third, in what was a good trial performance.
Heat 12 Maiden 1200 metres (l length, head 1:14.99)
Longbeach (3 c Fastnet Rock - Betwixt) - Matt Cameron; began well to travel on the bridle outside the leader. Drawn wide in the straight, he kicked to an advantage and asked to extend late in the piece came clear to win with his ears pricked.
