The Battle Continues

Yes the gloves are off in the battle for New Zealand the Jockeys' Premiership honours which may go right down to the wire.

We updated you with (Te Akau stable rider) Matt Cameron's rides for today and the good news is for Matt that he won three of the eight races on the card - with current Premiership leader Opie Bosson only winning one aboard Wainui Prince (and Matt finishing a close second in that race on Mean Sleak).

Matt's winners today were Get Out Of It in the maiden 1600m, Chill Bill in the Rating 85 1600m and Dreamy Jayda in the last, the Rating 65 1600m.

The tally now stands at Opie Bosson 142 and Matt Cameron 136 - just six wins behind.
