She'll be remembered as one of New Zealand's best to grace the turf. Imperatriz won 19 of her 27 race starts including 10 at Group 1 level.

She's set to be sold by Magic Millions at the end of the month, the same place she was purchased by David Ellis.

We spent some time with David Ellis and Karyn Fenton-Ellis to reflect on her wonderful career and the memories that they, along with the ownership group and her fans will forever cherish.
