Travel Update

Well it is hard to beieve that our travels are about to come to an end for another year.  It has been great to share them with you.  Plenty of terrific memories of time spent with family and friends, reacquainting and renewing - as well as making new friends.

It was a fairly low key weekend back in London - spending time with Lydia and Mitch and Karyn getting taken to a marvellous theatre experience in Hackney Downs Park with about 8,000-10,000 people on Sunday night.  David decided that packing was more his caper!

So today it is really a case of trying to make the clothes fit the suitcase (as well as the body - why is it you eat and drink a little too much on holiday??!) and a final lunch with Lydia who has taken the day off to see her family off.

We were simply thrilled to see our apprentice Daniel Miller win his first race aboard our jumper Goosebumps today - well done to Canterbury owners George Gould and Bill Thomas too.  Daniel is a very talented young man and all credit to him for his hard work and dedication and to Jason and also Pam and Tommy too for their mentoring of both horse and rider!

So it has been quite a 24 hours with War Affair and Mark cleaning up the first leg of the 3YO Challenge in Singapore and Goosebumps and Daniel doing the business in New Zealand.

Next time we write we will be back in New Zealand and look forward to talking soon.  No doubt the canines will be beside themselves too!
