Trip to Taupo

Te Akau track work @ Taupo Thursday August 8

Te Akau New Zealand trainer Jason Bridgman took advantage of fine weather and Dead 4 track conditions to prepare his charges:

Secret Whisper (Stack) and Sunset Pass (Miller) worked over 1200m in 1:17.9, cutting out the last 600m in 36.4 in preparation for resuming runs this month with Sunset Pass returning to Taupo on August 19 for a Maiden 1800m event.

Darci Brahma mares Milan Miss (Miller) and Clos de Tart (Stack) galloped over 1000m, going 800m in 51.6 and finishing their final 600m in 36.4, both will be back to the races later this month as well. Clos de Tart is likely to resume on August 19 at Taupo while Milan Miss will kick off over 1400m.

Peerage (Miller) and Cold Snap (Stack) also worked over 1000m with a time of 51.0 for the 800m and 36.06 for the last 600m.
