This past weekend could not have been better - for the second time in less than a fortnight, Te Akau New Zealand trainer Jason Bridgman trained a treble of winners in one day.

This time it was at the Poverty Bay meeting on Sunday where 3YO Chambord (Zabeel/Miss Montjeu) broke maiden ranks at just his second start; 3YO Sir Darci (Darci Brahma/Dominant) deservedly won his second start too after being desperately unlucky when on debut, and Cold Snap claimed the feature, the Poverty Bay Cup.
