What a Weekend!

It's not that often that words fail either my wife Karyn or myself - but the incredible Saturday of racing we have just experienced will be one forever etched in my memory.

The success experienced yesterday by both our New Zealand and our Singapore stables followed on from the phenomenal Saturday of last weekend when Jamie Richards and the team won a back to back Group 1 double in Sydney with Probabeel and Te Akau Shark, as well as a Listed even with Star of Bombay earlier that day at Ellerslie.

Yesterday Te Akau New Zealand'a Jamie Richards and our Matamata team scored yet another back to back Group 1 double - this time with our Karaka Million winner Cool Aza Beel followed by bonny mare Avantage, her third Group 1 of this season alone. Both were ridden by the genius, our stable rider Opie Bosson, who also rode our Sydney Group 1 winners last weekend.

To compliment these wins - our debutante two year old filly Pazienza scored an impressive six length win at Trentham and we were thrilled to be able to congratulate her owners Jo and Brendan Lindsay in person at Ellerslie!

Savy Yong Blonk linked up with Opie Bosson for owners Bill and Jim Gartshore to take out the first of the day at Ellerslie too - so four winners on Saturday for our Kiwi team.

In Singapore, our trainer Mark Walker who is the reigning Champion Singapore trainer, delivered a trio of wins - and as with Jamie in New Zealand, leads the Trainers' Premiership.

I will write more tomorrow but we just had to say how hugely proud we are of our whole team - and incredibly grateful to all of our amazing owners for their support and loyalty.
